On the evening of Aug. 5, participants of the Middle Park Fair & Rodeo mingled with car enthusiasts to check out a variety of unique rides, from 1970s-era pickups, to gleaming sports cars, to custom-made vehicles.

The cars, many meticulously cleaned, lined the fields outside the Middle Park Fairgrounds, as tunes from Kremmling country musician Caitlyn Taussig floated in the smoky air.

This was the first year the car show was held at the fairgrounds; previously it’s been held in the town square. The new location allowed car show attendees a chance to check out the fair happenings, such as team roping, and vise-versa. Proud owners displayed vehicles before driving off into the sunset.
