On Oct. 4, families, Middle Park Health staff and community members of all ages enjoyed local barbecue, a live and silent auction, and music and dancing at the second annual Middle Park Medical Foundation Country B.A.S.H. at McElroy Airfield in Kremmling.

“It was a fantastic time getting together with friends and family from Kremmling to the Front Range,” Andy Radzavich, Director of Middle Park Medical Foundation, wrote to Sky-Hi News.

The event raised money for the Medical Foundation’s scholarship and employee assistance funds as community members banked approximately $20,000 to support Middle Park Health employees and Grand County high school students going into medical fields.

Radzavich thanked the people who made the event success. Middle Park Health purchased a steer and hog from the Middle Park Fair & Rodeo junior livestock sale to feed the hungry crowd. George Rojas of Grand Que and his team prepared the food. Rose Gamblin of Middle Park Health also helped B.A.S.H. run smoothly, he said.

“This event would not have been possible without their extensive efforts,” Radzavich said of the volunteer and community support. “We strive to provide satisfying events that support meaningful causes, and it’s always great to see familiar faces at each gathering.”
