A long-time local and owner of GuestGuide Publications which publishes The Grand County Menu Guide, Susie Masterson, has received the distinguished Publisher of the Year award at the Niche Media Conference held April 8–10 in Orlando, FL.
This national conference is attended by accomplished publishers, advertising sales managers, editors, and designers, in addition to printers and other vendors who offer products for business efficiency and data collection.
“This is a tremendous honor for this experienced and tenured group to recognize my work,” Masterson said. “They are colleagues and coaches I work with on a regular basis for advertising sales and publishing ideas in order to stay abreast of critical, timely concepts.”
Two of GuestGuide visitor guides, “Base Camp Kanab Visitor Guide,” and the “Moab to Monument Valley GuestGuide” were finalists for Magazine of the Year as well. This is the fifth award for GuestGuide from Niche. Multiple honors have been awarded for Best Media Company and Best Regional and Best Travel Guide for the “Moab to Monument Valley GuestGuide.“
“It’s refreshing to have this group of professionals, all immersed in publishing in some fashion, gather and share ideas, and these concepts are apparent in the value I offer my clients,” Masterson said.
In addition to “The Grand County Menu Guide,” GuestGuide also produces: “Estes Park Vacationland,” “Base Camp Kanab,” “Moab to Monument Valley Guest Guide” and the “Moab Menu Guide.”
Masterson has run GuestGuide Publications for 31 years. She started her first publication and business here in Grand County. Contact GuestGuide Publications at susie@guestguidepublications.com or by calling 970-887-0776.
