UPDATE: Structure fire sparks near Kremmling

Update: 9:15 a.m., June 27: Kremmling Fire personnel assisted by other local fire agencies remain on scene of the structure fire northwest of Kremmling and are engaged in fire suppression and mop up. A helicopter was called, but cancelled because it was no longer needed, the sheriff’s office said.
There remains no fire spread and there are no evacuations.
7 a.m., June 27: The Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Kremmling Fire Protection District and Grand County Colorado EMS are on the scene of a fire northwest of Kremmling on the ridge above Grand River Ranch that is producing flames and smoke visible from the U.S. Highway 40 corridor and the Kremmling area.
There are no evacuations, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release issued at 6:45 a.m. June 27.
Crews on the scene have determined it is a structure fire, not a wildfire, and that it is not spreading.
