Grand Lake osprey lays second egg

A livestreaming osprey coupled in Grand Lake has laid its second egg, as of around 5 p.m. on Monday, Kent Roorda said.
“Thanks to those of you who noticed the newest egg before I did,” the camera custodian said. “Now, we will wait a couple more days to see if there will be a third egg!”
Do ospreys sleep?
Ospreys sleep at night, just like most of us do, Roorda said. As soon as it is dark outside, they close their eyes and start to nod off. However, they do not go into a deep sleep as they much maintain an awareness of things going on around them. Sometimes, they will turn their head around and rest it on the back of their shoulders
